Team

Luiz Fernando Azevedo Resende

Partner and Founder of SRB, Resende holds a Business Management Degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Before founding SRB, he was one of the founding partners and President of LatinFinance Research and Advisory. Before establishing LatinFinance in December 2001, Mr. Resende served as Director Vice President at Banco Santander Brasil S.A. and Banco Bozano, Simonsen S.A., where he was responsible for coordinating the investment banking activities, including the areas of capital markets, M&A, privatization, project finance, securities brokerage and equity research. Between 1975 and 1995, he served as Executive Director at Unibanco where he developed several activities in the areas of corporate banking, retail and mainly investment banking. He was also employed at Itaú Corretora de Valores S.A., Research Division. Between 1998 and 2002, he was Director at the National Association of Investment Banks – ANBID (ANBIMA) and one of the founding members of the Capital Markets Self-regulation Council.

Marcio de Moraes Rego Corrêa Barbosa

Partner and Founder of SRB, Barbosa holds an Economics Degree from the University of Political and Economics Sciences of Rio de Janeiro. He first joined the Financial Market at the Chase Manhattan’s Brazilian office in 1976 – where he was invited to extend his area of expertise into the Credit Securities’ business – during his period in Chase, he worked in the Corporate Banking office in Rio de Janeiro. In 1981, he joined the Bozano Simonsen Investment Banking team and worked there until its acquisition by Santander in the year 2000. During this period he was responsible for the Commercial Bank and Investment Bank activities in Rio de Janeiro and was the Regional Director of all the bank’s activities in the South of Brazil. From 1993 to 2000, Barbosa was the Executive Director responsible for the Corporate Banking department in São Paulo and participated as a permanent member on the Credit and Investment Bank Committee. In 2001, Márcio founded the MB1 Consultoria Econômica to provide consulting services.

Daniel Barbosa

Bachler´s degree in economics from IBMEC / RJ, he began his working career as an intern in 2017 at Banco Brasil Plural in the commercial area of ??the asset where he stayed until the end of 2019. He joined SRB Banco de Negócios in the beginning of 2020 as an analyst focused on mergers and acquisitions.

Antonio Carlos Laet

Graduated in Chemical Engineering from UFRJ. Began his career at The Sydney Ross CO. in R&D and later at Johnson Wax, starting his career in marketing. In the period from 1980 to 2000, held executive positions as CEO of Johnson Wax Professional and Director for South America. In 2001 founded AC Laet Business Consulting, consulting on strategic planning and business. In 2006 he was hired by Vistage to open the segment of advisory to presidents, members and successors in Rio de Janeiro. In 2012 joined SRB Banco de Negócios.

Claudio Antonio Cinci

Graduated in economics from PUC-SP, he began his career at Cia. Litográfica Ypiranga, he also worked at ARNO in administrative and commercial areas. He began his career in the financial and capital markets at BIB Banco de Investimento of Brazil where he worked in the advertising areas, institutional and sales. At Unibanco Bank he was superintendent middle of agencies and regional director in Ribeirão Preto. He also did a course in Los Angeles in partnership with the Security National Bank and Unibanco focused on the market. After that, He was in charge of the national Unibanco sales office in São Paulo and he was also the director of sales at Prever Private Pension in Ribeirão Preto,  where he worked as a Private Banking. Claudio joined SRB in 2013 as an associate.

Marcelo Angelo Pereti

Graduated in business administration from FGV-EAESP in 2008, focusing on corporate finance and investments in private equity and venture capital, with extension in valuation and funding for startups by Saint Paul. In 2007, he worked with the valuation of rural assets in Brasil Agro and later on raising capital resources and financing projects for wind biomass energy projects. He was the financial director of the sugarcane company Bom Sucesso Agroindustria, having participated in the acquisition of the company by private equity funds in 2010, in the expansion and financing of operational activities and sale to a local partner in 2020. In 2020 he joined SRB Banco de Negócios Ltda.

Marcos Mikail Abud

Civil Engineer and Postgraduate in Business Administration from Universidade Mackenzie in São Paulo. He started his activities in the financial market at Banco Bozano Simonsen in March 1988, working in the Corporate Banking area and remaining there until January 2000. After the sale of the Bank to Banco Santander, he became responsible for the Regional Directorate of São Paulo until May 2008. He then transferred to Cargill Agrícola as Executive Vice President of Banco Cargill, where he remained for 10 years, responsible for a $ 2 Billion portfolio and for national and international interbank relations. In 2019 he joined SRB Banco de Negócios Ltda.

Rodrigo Reichert Campos de Pinho

Rodrigo has a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) in São Paulo / SP and a postgraduate degree in Business Management from Insper – Institute of Education and Research in São Paulo / SP. He started his career in 2004 at a Swiss company of International Financial Trading / Foreign Trade, having gone on to a credit bank and later 6 years as a trader of stock exchange assets in a brokerage firm with which he was associated. Worked with investments in the Real Estate market in his own company, developing expertise in financial advisory and business consulting focused on M&A.

Sérgio Belisário

Graduated in Economics from PUC-MG, with specializations in Finance from IBMEC-MG and Leadership and Management from Dom Cabral foundation , with extension at Insead, and Finance for Executives at New York University. With a huge professional experience worked in Cemig Group for more than 30 years, holding key roles in the financial, telecommunications and IT, standing out as CEO of Way TV and Cemig Telecom. He participated in the development and structuring of various businesses such as Way TV, Infovias Company and Ativas Data Center, as well as coordinating the alienation of Way TV. Sérgio also coordinated large consumer debt negotiations and coordinated the implementation of a risk management program in the electricity sector. He held positions on the boards of directors of Cemig, Cemig Telecom, Way TV, Ativas Data Center and Forluz, and in the last three companies he was the board president. He was also the founder and director of the employee investment club of Cemig – Clic (the country ‘s largest Investment Club), a member of NEO TV (Brazilian pay TV operator association), IBEF – MG director and SETA (national syndicate of pay-TV operators). He currently holds the presidency of the Associação Mineira de Reabilitação – AMR, a philanthropic institution that assists children and youth with disabilities. In 2015 he joined SRB Banco de Negócios.
